Our friends at NHS 24 held an awareness day recently to mark #WSD16. They really entered into the spirit of #sockittosepsis and everyone looked fab in their socks and t-shirts! Thanks to you all for your support and for raising a wee bit of money to help us fund some more leaflets!

At our World Sepsis Day 2016 reception last night, Dr Colin Begg, FEAT Medical Committee Chair, announced the opening of our next round of FEATURES Awards, small grant funding programme. FEAT SUPPORTERS Graeme Brown and Maggie Hancock set up a stall at the Langbank Gala Day on Saturday and through selling home baking and produce together with some socks and pin badges and a tombola, managed to raise over £300 for FEAT!!! Staff at the Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway and community hospitals at Uist, Barra and St Brendan’s joined together for a Sepsis awareness event on 6th September.
